Hardwick, I believe, will communicate and transmit the emotional rivalry with the hated Raiders, something our current era players need after the kumbaya that’s been served on a platter in recent years, let alone the horrendous beat down and taking our entire team to the woodshed they delivered last season. In my view, current and soon-to-be Charger players need to be introduced to, taught about the history, and yes, even tradition and be indoctrinated on this. Again Nick Hardwick, who played many seasons under Marty Schottenheimer, just has to bring some of that to the squad during those weeks. I believe he will.
