Yea. I lived in the Third World for a 3 or 4 years, and I got it.

You might be thinking of typhus, which is not what I had.

Typhoid fever comes from shit water or undercooked-shit food washed in shit water. So, if you're ever in the Third World, don't drink the water, and eat only things you cook or you physically see the cook cook the shit out of. You can get away with eating raw fruit if it's the kind with a protective skin - like avocado or oranges.

I know it's North Carolina, but you can't consider that 3rd world.

Power has been out damn near 36 hours here in South Carolina. I'm pissed I'm missing Bosa's first game. I guess it's still possible power comes on before then, but if not, I'll need a way to watch it.

Maybe if we win I can just stop watching the games live.

I know I've been saying we're going to lose this one all week, but now am hoping for some positive karma. My wife and I spent the weekend in Eureka Springs, AR & last night walking home from the bar in the dark, she slipped on a crab apple, ended up falling, spraining both her ankles and broke her thumb (and her cell phone, and a bottle of expensive hot sauce we had bought)... Poor thing. Win this one for Lori!!!
