Broncos coach Gary Kubiak remains at a Denver-area hospital undergoing tests after becoming ill after Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
According to the team, Kubiak completed his various post-game duties before becoming lethargic and feeling ill. The decision to take him to a hospital via ambulance was influenced in part by the incident from 2013, when Kubiak collapsed on the way to the locker room at halftime of a Sunday night game in Houston, when he was coaching the Texans.
It’s unknown at this point whether Kubiak will remain overnight at the hospital. For now, the focal point is to determine whether he’s dehydrated, whether he’s suffering from a virus, or whether it’s a recurrence of the health problem he had three years ago.
