I strongly disagree that fumble recoveries are random. Aggressive mentality, quick and fast players, less fatigue players will have more chance to recover the ball. It's about awareness and aggressiveness. I see it all the time on pro and college and even high school games where the more aggressive, stronger guys who wants it more wrested the ball away from the weaker, less aggressive guys.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

I read part of the article... but what I read cemented my opinion on McTurtle.. that guy has to go if he doesnt change. We always criticized Norval for not adjusting. I see the same on McTurtle, the guy just doesnt adjust to general circumstances. He is worst than Marty I see way more stubornnes on him.

It seems to me that Benjamin's fumble against NO was completely fear driven. He was so afraid to get hit and fumble, that he tried to dive to the ground and fumbled anyway. I'm pretty sure that Kaser's botched snap was fear driven, too.Originally posted by vinabolt View PostI strongly disagree that fumble recoveries are random. To those who don't want to read it all...let me sum up the article for ya:
Up to this point, the Chargers have led or been in reach of a victory for every single game they have played...BUT...while they APPEAR to be an upper tier team...they need to learn to stay out of their own way. The next two games will further illustrate if they really are what they appear to be. End of paragraph.
