It was Herbert and Allen’s fault they were 23-29?! If anything they’re worse without Allen. Does that mean we trade Herbert because he was so bad?

Keenan was a great possession receiver for us, but there were other, more important areas of the roster that needed to be strengthened during his time with the team. He would be nice to have going forward if he were in the prime of his career and didn't cost so much. We will win without him.

Exactly. The logic is so flawed. Keenan Allen isn't the reason they didn't win more. He's one of the few guys who helped them win. So not the guy to get rid of. Or move Herbert too. QBs are much more responsible for winning and losing

Give us a good reason why the team should take a cap hit over $23 million, the highest it's ever been with him on the team, in 2024 on the last year of his contract (at 32 years old) when we haven't won anything of significance with him when his cap hit was lower?

Perhaps they can use a portion of this money to sign Renfro and bring back Mike WIlliams? Williams may come back but only after he has tried and failed to sign elsewhere. They might get both on one year prove its.

If this was baseball he'd still be here, but there is a game within the game with a salary cap. You've really got to anticipate the players production in future years. He's 32 and he has had his share of injuries. They are much harder to come back from after 30. I don't like it, but I understand it. Best of luck, Keenan.
