I am not sure its the OC as much as the Head Coach. Eberflus keeps making coaching changes. Now Waldron can be partially to blame but at this point, Eberflus also is part of the problem

And williams had a tendency to hold onto the football

Bears are a mess right now on offense. Not all Calebs fault - coaching for sure

I think Keenan’s cousins and accountants here over-react to unfiltered stat comparison posts and write in accusatory conclusions the author never said. i didn’t read 21&5 say Keenan sucks. why y’all so reflexively presumptive, fellas?

None of you wondered how Keenan was going to produce when he chose to leave LAC and Herbie for a bit more cash in CHI but with Caleb?

I predicted Caleb was more likely the next Bryce Young than the next Steve Young before the season. I thought Daniels would be the best QB in the class. I don’t think WRs in CHI have much of a chance. That said - KA is not Superman, obviously. Turns out he’s mortal after all and not irreplaceable. Jmo

There was talk earlier about LM not being as good as Allen was as a rookie. After week 11 in Allen's rookie year, his stats were:

            50/613 3TDs

Not taking anything away from La DD as he is doing great but Keenan didnt start his first two games as a rookie and didnt play at all in week 1. Only had 4 targets ( 3 catches)after playing in his first 3 games. Then an injury occured. Ladd is going to be a real good one for us and love his speed he adds to us. Just hope he can stay healthy.

BTW Keenans rookie year we swept KC that season.

                Both are impressive dudes.
Some here thought Allen would have the better 2024 season all things considered. ALL things considered.
Ladd is playing like a vet, I didn't expect that until late this season. I also expected less targets for Ladd with a wr corp of Palmer, Q, Chark ahead of him.
Allen I expect to be Williams' security blanket (many targets) as a talented rookie trying to figure out a pro offense.

Good thing all that figuring and expecting went out the door and we have the more productive guy.

                Chargers > individual players.

I didnt expect him to have a great year in Chicago. Caleb hasnt been good.

Keenans CAREER catch rate is 69%. This year it is 53% and thats on Caleb. Catch rate as Velo uses it isnt all about whether or not you catch the ball. Targets are targets and if a pass is overthrown and you cant catch it, its still a target and goes against your catch rate as does a ball defended by a CB.

Clearly Caleb isnt getting him the ball consistantly like Rivers and Herb did who have been Keenans QBs his entire career up to now. But then, theres no comparison between Caleb and those two. Caleb has a ways to go. They also dont have a good OL. Keenan's last catch yesterday before their FG attempt was a short out and he had to lay out for it because it was a lousy throw.

Ladd doing things on Sunday what Palmer was doing in practices. Running some insane routes.

Bengals don't come back, if Allen is here.

                      Sorry.

Love LM, but with KA and LM. Herbert has someone he can throw contested catches too, and he will come down with it.
                      QJ isn't that guy.

Some people here are severely overrating late stage career Keenan Allen. Guy is past his prime and nothing would have changed yesterday. His production has been replaced by Ladd

BTW, didn't he say himself that Caleb was better than rookie Herbert? Don't want to hear any complaints.
