I haven’t seen enough of Rice to want to keep him over Reagor. Idunno … 3 more PS games to evaluate how much both are developing. If KA signs, I see the 53 roster includes

    KA
    LM
    QJ
    KLS
    DD
    TH

I don’t see room for either Rice or Reagor. 7 WRs seems like too many to me. And never mind the other two UDFA WRs that flashed in camp, unfortunately for them.

Agree and idk if Reagor has PS eligibility or not. Dont know the rules on that. We'll see how it shakes out. Still havent seen word on Keenan yet.

Didn't coach speak about Keenans workout and prospects of joining the team.....thought I saw some stuff. Let me look for those comments......

Wide receiver Keenan Allen's visit with the Chargers on Friday ended without him signing a contract to rejoin his first NFL team, but it sounds like the door remains open to a deal.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh said on Monday that the visit with Allen “went well” and suggested that the team will keep the lines of communication open with the wideout.

“Dating back from when I first took the job, competitors welcome at the Los Angeles Chargers, and the interest has always been there with Keenan,” Harbaugh said, via Daniel Popper of TheAthletic.com.

also-He said he will leave it to Hortiz and Allen's reps. "He did a lot of Keenan things" according to Fernando Ramirez on X

Edit: I have also seen it mentioned Coach is "hopeful" a deal gets done.

I remember before Jim got hired and he had dinner with Dean Spanos, and how that went well. The hiring came to fruition.

KA13 will be reunited with JH10. Allen will also like playing alongside Ladd McConkey.

The phrasing of the comments makes me wonder if Keenan is asking for too much money and that is why we haven't signed him.

Me too. Hortiz and Harbaugh wanted Keenan to take a pay cut and stay last year. Heavy on the stay part. Keenan felt slighted or cheated or whatever the right word is. So they did what they did. I do believe they want him here now at the right price. And the right price for an aged vet who will play a complementary role is 2025 Mike Williams money, not DK Metcalf money. Keenan can take it and have fun and make a run at a Charger superbowl with teammates who love him.....or he can feel disrespected. He has a boatload of money already. C'mon Keenan!
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Well Keenan isn't just caving in obviously. "Negotiating" was the word used. But they're talking so I lean toward a getting it done compromise.

Wouldn't shock me at all. That seems on point with Keenan.

Allen + LADD + KLS would be a wicked 3 wide formation

Any concerns about them being too similar of a type of WR?

I imagine they're thinking a Puka Nakua/Cooper Kupp type thing.
