    Ein Prosit!!!

    I wanted to apologize to everyone for being absent this week, I was selected to be a new emcee at our local Oktoberfest here in Tulsa, which is in the top 10 (including Munich) of places to celebrate/experience Oktoberfest in the world - so I've been tied up doing this since Wednesday, and the festival ended tonight. I kept checking the score the entire time today, sure that we were going to screw the pooch somehow - especially at halftime - and couldn't be happier that I was wrong - holy crap, I can't wait to watch the game right now.

    My main point of this is that I realized how much I enjoy watching the game and following along on our game day threads and interacting with you all, and interjecting my usual "FUCK YOU REFS" every 7 minutes. And, if you're ever around Tulsa late in October, let me know, I'm now apparently on the board of directors as an emcee (everyone but me has been doing it for over 30 years) so I can get you all the free beer!!!

    Stinky, if you're not here the first day next year, I'm driving up and abducting you for 5 days.

            It should be, but just means "a toast" & is a song that's played about every 20 minutes at Oktoberfest.

              My sister and brother in law recently moved to Tulsa (he teaches at the Tulsa campus of Oklahoma St). She was surprised that she likes the place. I believe they went to the Oktoberfest.

                        I've been to that Oktoberfest a couple times, and it is pretty legit.

                        Of course, I also thought I was going to die on one of the rides, but that's another story.
