    Anybody Remember This??? Memory Lane.

I was digging out the basement as we are turning our dining room into a music room. I came across this from 1980. I stood in line for days to get seats and ended up on the front page of the Union Tribune morning and evening editions. It was a lot of fun to do and the people that sent food, booze and beers were incredible. I remember Nicolosi's up on El Cajon Blvd. sent down food for about 10 people one afternoon. And yes that's the ticket stub from the picture.

It's time for another Super Bowl run boys!!!!!

Nope. But I love these stories.
I was being conceived a year later while Fouts and the rest of the offense were freezing in Cincinnati.

1980 was the year I graduated high school. Turned 18 about 6 weeks before that.

I remember. And really i believe the Bolts had nothing left to give after the Epic in Miami the week before. What a game that was. I was in heaven the 1st quarter, then suicidal for the rest of regulation. But Kellen Winslow stepped up...big time. so much so they sent him in on defense to block a field goal....and he did! Pinched nerve, sideline IVs, and 3 stitches in his lower lip and we are going to overtime! We came out on top, but had nothing left for the freeze bowl
