Did we need skill more than what Alt payed off after year 1 of the draft class?

Bowers or Nabers might have made bigger impact. Alt was good but line was still poor overall in me view. Lack of skill players was the #1 drag on this season in my view.

the OL's impact is so hard to measure on an individual basis. they have stats for everyone on tankathon - except offensive lineman (NO stats).

but look at what happens when we can't run, and we have no pass protection - we get crushed.

minnesota has all-world WR's and they were quiet tonight - while Darnold got pressured. i think o-line is still a higher priority than WR or TE, but they are all 3 areas of need.

I think after the 2nd half of the HOU game, it's hard to argue that IOL isn't the #1 pressing need.

Herbert was pressured on 53% of his throws. That's a pretty insane number. And a lot of those pressures were guys coming in untouched or barely touched.
