This is a very clean prospect.
We do not play modern football.

He's young, smart, & has a mean streak. Just what the Doctor ordered (and since MJH was already gone).

So do we move him to right tackle? Can he do that? Do we even know?

O-Line will certainly be beastly now, and give Herbert plenty of time to throw.
Our RBs also probably loving this.

Curious what the next plan is, do they go WR, or a D-line player in the 2nd.

Bookend tackles for the next 10 years, fellas. Insurance policy in case Slater gets hurt or play regresses and they decide to move on in a few years.

These are the kind of guys that you build a new culture and foundation around. Not diva WRs or undersized TEs.

This will go down as one of the moves that helped turn this franchise around.

We'll get a serviceable WR prospect day 2 and/or next year.

I'm good with it. I'm on board with Harbaughs philosophy.

I would have preferred a trade down but it takes two to tango and quite possible there were no partners. Lets hope the move to RT goes well. Building a strong OL is a great way to foster a winning program
