    2 thoughts:

    1. Cam sure creates a lot of turnovers despite not being a ball-hawk. His physicality at CB is unique.
    2. Cam used to play WR. Does Jim see a littler Richard Sherman to his game? I know Jim had a long, conflict-loaded relationship with RS but I can't help but feel Sherman made a lasting impression on Jim on the field.

I think I heard that MH2 was nursing an ankle injury vs Notre Dame.
not sure but I think I heard that.

Best draft call by far imho, Cam is going to be one of my fav players on this team.

Unfortunately, if you’re born there, you die there. Education has no value there, survival does. You are what you see. Very few escape.

I congratulate Cam for getting out of there. That takes perseverance and drive beyond what most of us are able to do.

And what a great mother and family he has. They got him out of there into a great high school. And worked hard to pay for it. He’s a lucky man.

              I’ll be rooting for him.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The draft call with Brenden Rice was really moving, also.

A lot of guys here had a constant UM draft prediction almost from Rd2 and on (no Rd1 prospects). I kept faith that Jim wasnt going to pick UM guys just because they were UM and he knows them. He’d pick them if they were BPA. He held true - took Colson where he deserved to go, and then nothing to the end.

I like the two CBs they took to build better depth into that group. Good value in both. Not afraid to take the same position 2x in a row if thats what their board tells them. we’ll see how soon they can earn their way onto the field, who knows …

I'll have to take your work for it on the CB's - I have no clue, but Michigan played both Maryland and ND so I'm assuming that JH has detailed knowledge of them. . . . . . . . .

Chargers Safety coach, Chris O'Leary coached at ND.
