We don’t need Eboigbe to be a pass rusher. A run stuffer is all we need so I think that C grade is harsh.

I predicted in the Alt thread that he catches at least one TD this year!

He did have 7 sacks in the SEC last year, so it's not like he hasn't been effective doing that in the past.

Good point...we already have 3 excellent pass rushers in Mack, Bosa and Tuli...and remember, if all 3 are in there with Eggie, we can move Tuli to interior to create pocket pressure...if Eggie just sits there at DT and stuffs the run while the other three are bringing the heat, that alone is a huge upgrade over last season...

Yep...why not? Give the opposing D something more to game plan for...and hopefully, Harbo's gadget plays work better than Staley's epic fails...

Prediction. Pipkins has two and says, hold my beer.

I think they are getting the benefit of the doubt, due to their recent success.

Same thing happened in New England, when Belichick was piling up bad drafts near the end: the Cole Strange draft being the exception.
No way would I swap draft picks with KC or any team for that matter. I like the picks we have for "this" team.

Fusion surgery in 2022 is likely the reason for that grade. The Wolverines had all sorts of trouble with him in the CFP. The Chargers got EXACTLY what they wanted. Likely would have been ranked much higher absent the fusion surgery.

Damn, we shouldn’t have traded him.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Listening to the press conference - he can line up at the 1 gap, 3 gap, 7 and 9 gap

I took that to mean maybe he can play interior on early downs but move outside for pass rush downs

Can somebody teach the rest of us what the heck gaps 1 through 9 mean?
