I think they realize you need some veteran presence and you dont game plan on 7 round picks in their first NFL season

Running the group deep is genius. If I send two wr on consecutive plays deep on a db, dude will be twice as tired. Rotate and dominate.

Exactly, plus you need some veteran presence. Chark has one thing none of these other young receivers do. He has a Pro Bowl under his belt. He is still 27 and fast.

Not his best year last year but you can write that off to the Carolina shit show and his overwhelmed rookie QB looking like a deer in the headlights. Chargers must be "charking" it up to Carolina mess becase they have signed 3 players from that offence now.

I think they passed on Boyd because they needed a guy who had more experience playing the X position and Boyd was primarily a slot guy. Rice and Cornelius have that experience but are 7th rounders. Not expecting much from Chark but it should hopefully make it a competitive camp that hopefully improves everyone.

Chark is the fastest WR on the Chargers. Ran 4.34 at 6 ft 3

For a veteran addition I like him better than MSV or Boyd. The guy I was hoping for.

Based on these highlights he is considerably better than QJ at this point
