Taylor is currently ranked the #61 prospect, and you want to take him at #22? I don't see that as a smart move. Maybe that's just me.

They've talked to Taylor and talked to Donovan Ezeiruaku (whom I think is also a mid 2nd-rounder)... maybe they like these 2 players a little more than me. Maybe they're preparing for a tradeback scenario. I like the 2nd-5th rounds, too.Protect the QB

They talked to both players... do they think both are worth the #22 pick...? I'm skeptical.
So I suggested that maybe there is a tradeback scenario...Protect the QB

I watched tape on WR Jaylen Royals from Utah State and I love him, mocks indicate he could be 3rd maybe 4th round pick, I would do it in heartbeat.
Steve Smith SR breakdown:
4.42 - 40 speed.
Field stretcher, good on slants, below 5% drop rate which is very very good, good on contested catches, seems faster than 40 yards dash indicates.
87% outside Vs 13% slot
Love him.

Pats receive #22
Chargers receive #38(rd2), #69(rd3), #144(rd5).
Maybe the Chargers throw in one of the 6th rnd picks to sweeten the pot. That would give the Chargers 2 2nd, 2 3rd, 2 5th, and 3 6th round picks. 4 picks in the top 100.Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

Pats would have to be in love with a prospect to give up that much.
