I never bought into the rule that a fan had to support the team no matter what. If the product sucks or the company has unethical practices, then you lose customers until you fix it. That's business and sports should be no different.

Let's be real, you put Spanos as the owner of any team in any city in the league, give them the years of ineptitude and then threaten to move the team and let's see how many fans are filling any of those other stadiums.

Spanos is lucky to be in San Diego. There are other cities where he would be receiving death threats for the way he has handled this franchise, let alone moving the team.

I think a large part of what we're battling here is Deano has a life-long inferiority complex that he's never lived up to expectations of achieving success like his father, and he's now made it his life's work to notch a big convincing "win" in every normal sense of the word (and some only in his mind) to make his Dad proud and take care of the financial security of the entire family in his place. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be made of "the right stuff" to make it happen.
