We had Allen Trammel in the mid-70s.

On the debit side, we played Lincoln HS for the CIF championship the year Marcus Allen was a senior at LHS. He scored 5 TDs in that game. The mighty Komets did not brush with greatness in that game.

(Ok, not really, but as a late 70s Kearny alum, we got sick of PHHS being so big and powerful lol, the original SD super HS)
There were definitely lots of drugs but no PEDs

Hearst elem, Lewis Jr and PHHS. Good ole days. Neighborhood schools.
Moved from Santa Maria in '69 to go to Lewis for one year. The following year to PHHS. Didn't graduate from there though, that happened at Royal High in Simi Valley in '72. Good memories of Lewis and PHHS.

Are you talking little league fields in Allied Gardens? If so I was right down the street from them on Clara Lee street. Memories at the little league fields. How funny that everyone chimed in about their High schools...

He scored as a RB, CB and Returner in our CIF.

Damn, some old farts around here.

                        Class of 85 here.

My life was a real life Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Seriously, when we saw it in the theater (Sports Arena AMC) we thought it was a documentary

It was a fair and credible depiction of the late 1970's to 1980 San Diego mid-city Mesa life (Clairemont Mesa to Kearny Mesa thru Serra Mesa). The story is prior to '85 - I was class of 79, what you watched there was my biopic
