    Yup!

I've been on numerous forums for numerous teams. There is always a very vocal group that is wildly over-reacting to everything and insanely negative. I've got to the point where I avoid such threads for that reason.

I do occasionally check in to get a chuckle from the negative nancies. They never fail to deliver something so pathetic it's a good laugh!

DeAndre Hopkins is a little older at 32, but if the Titans keep losing he may be an option as a trade target as well.

At the bye, 2-2 is not in a bad place to be at, and there are several things to be positive about.

The Chargers lead the league in scoring defense, allowing 12.5 pts per game.

They are 7th in yards allowed, 282.5 per game.

They are 2nd in turnover differential, +5.

Their 2 turnovers are 2nd fewest.

They have snagged 4 INTs, tied for 5th most with a bunch of other teams.

Their 3 fumble recoveries is tied for 2nd most.

The offensive stats are not good, except for two things:

        They protect the ball well.

The offense has scored more pts (68) than the defense has given up (50).

Amari Cooper and DeAndre Hopkins are at the top of my wish list for WR acquisitions before the trade deadline.

I'd be happy if they traded for either of them. They might be competing with KC though, if Rashee Rice is out for the year I could see them trying to trade for someone.

Exactly what I was thinking, the Chiefs are in the market.

Chiefs too serious to sit still, they have another Super Bowl to win

My eye is on 2025. And I don't expect the Chargers front office to make a rash push at the trade deadline. The team needs to fill more holes before they can seriously threaten.

They might make a trade if it helps both short and mid-term.

We've got wizards in control now of the plan. No nonsense.

My biggest takeaway from this season is the Chargers have finally closed up their country club and become a football team for once.

This crew actually fights back and isn't getting their brains beaten in anymore. Yeah, it's not looking pretty on the win loss or the scoreboard, but it's evident in how they are winning and losing games.

Can't wait to see this thing with more talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball to help out Herbert and Dobbins.

Excellant post. Work in progress...and stay tuned...get healthy and clean up some penalties, and I think we see early dividends...

This isnt SB season...its get right season...but it may still be a winning season....some wanna throw in the towel after 2-2...decimated oline, tons of penalties, and we were still in that game...

Herbert is PISSED....very interested in the team that takes the field vs Denver in 2 weeks.

DEN defense is strong. They really got after Rodgers. We do not match up well.

Our IOL is not good in space, but we have to keep the screens going.
We need an explosive receiving back like prime Ekeler.

Late 4th quarter there were several plays left out there that could have won us the game. The complaints are misguided as they do not even address what we are trying to work towards...just mindless henpecking.

Perhaps the biggest take away is that Herbert is evolving into the type of leader we want.
                          We play modern Harball.
