I appreciate also that Joe doesnt spend foolishly and make massive mistakes. However the team needs upgrades to really contend and they cant all come from the draft. So far a very conservative approach to utiilzing the leagues second most cap space.

Poona leaving is a huge loss for us. I hope they extend Tarte. I know we have faith out defensive coaches can get the best out of folks but you still have to have the horses. I wonder if this means we have Kenneth Grant on the draft target list?

Nobody expected Poona to be anything last year, they’re going to find another Poona, but they won’t be paying 10mil APY, look back at Poona’s career it’s already happened twice before, once he gets the extension he has a really bad year…it happened in Seattle and again in Buffalo

At age 30, it was probably the right move not to go this route.
