oh definitely, its subject to change, thats just my prediction as of today. who knows in a month or 2 some of those guys might be cut or regulated to the ps, its just an extremely early prediction. especially cuz we dont know if jk is coming back or not, so that could change some things in of itself

WE NEED MORE ALL ROUND WR's...which is why we drafted 2 more WQR';s this year...
I think what he meant was that Ladd plays big, and QJ plays small (or more accurately, not to his size.).

According to Joe Hortiz, Egboigbe has put on 20 pounds of muscle and is geeked about the upcoming competition.

Very interested to see what Egboigbe and Colson can do this season, since they were largely invisible as rookies.

Minter said the same thing when interviewed by Matt money Smith. Minter also implied that Egboigbe wasn't strong enough to do the things they wanted him to do last year .... and said that "he is now in a better place."

20 pounds added would make him about 310 pounds

Not everyone in a draft class can be Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Tarhib Still, and Cam Hart...if Egboibe can consistently do what he did in the last preseason game against the Dallas cowboys last summer, he's going to be a solid starting player. Throw a revitalized Colson into that mix and the 2024 draft class could be looking to be one of the best in Chargers history.

Colson and Egboibe were definitely overshadowed by the other Charger 2024 rookies but not all these guys can produce in year one...Colson in particular is a classic case of how unpredictable an NFL season can be. He was the one guy that most of us thought would hit the ground running. Ran the same defense at Michigan for Minter, was going to wear the green dot, was ahead of the curb with understanding what was expected of him in the Minter scheme etc...then one apendicitis later and he fell behind the other linebackers combined with Henley (who was also considered to have a bad rookie campaign) blossoming in year two and Colson was mostly overtaken by Dye, Henley, and Perryman early in the year and never recovered. I expect Colson to do in 2025 what Henley did in 2024. Egboigbe should be a starter this upcoming season too...nothing Eboigna did last year should guarantee him a starting spot this year.

It was visible in preseason how he got pushed around by non-starters and scrubs. this could be great news, he’s a penetrating “quick” (for IDL) DT … it gives us two important reminders:

                          1. Every rookie is not ready for NFL level competition on day 1, or even year 1 (ahem(
                          2. Can’t judge a rookie class in the first year alone

If Eg aand Col both emerge as good starters / rotation players, Joe’s ‘24 draft class goes from pretty good to stunningly great. LFG!
