While I agree Slayer would be productive, I think it would take too many reps away from the other new receivers we’ve added who will need them to develop.

If no teams signs Dobbins, I can't imagine he would just sit out and not show up to make 3.4mil.

Today - I agree there just isn't room for him on the roster. Now if QJ is traded, maybe a WR gets hurt in training camp (put Ladd in bubble wrap!) - Allen could become an option.

I saw a writer speculate that the best landing spot for Allen would be the Bills

Yea saw that. Never heard that one before. Just sounds like a way to use him as a comp pick. Something I guess Telesco had no idea about.
Would love to have him back and at 3.428 mil, he is totally worth that but his snap count will really be reduced.
Can a team sign him for more than that? If they offer 4 mil, can we match?

saw the other day where Keenan was the 51st best overall player in the NFL, and…. seems like some here don’t even consider him a top 50 receivers in the League ??

Nothing against Mike Williams personally, I like him a lot, but I don't see how he is a lock to make this team. Coming off of a season-ending injury from 2023, he had 21 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown in 18 games (five starts) for two teams last year. He probably isn't anywhere near the Mike Williams we had in 2021.

Id say his circumstances held his production down. When TC started last year he wasn't even a year from injury and not sure when he had surgery. It's usually not right away and they worked him in slow in TC. Then add the fact Aaron had his boys there in GB.
Traded to a new team, learning a new offense.

When he got his chances he produced. 14.1 YPC

Keenan isn't going there unless they make a good offer. Said he wants to play in two places and Chicago looks like ain't one any longer.
He may sit and wait for a team to call during the season though.

Vidal is the only one I think might get cut or sent to PS...the others (QJ, Dissley and Dupree) will most probably see their # of reps go down, depending on how they and others play...

I don't think Vidal is in danger. He is under a rookie contract. IMHO. Vidal is going to be the change of pace RB. He needs to get better at pass pro though. Harris needs to have a good year if he wants to get an extension. They could very well let him walk next year and get a comp pick from him. I think it will be Hampton/Vidal combo going forward after this year, but like I said Vidal really needs to improve his pass pro if he wants to stay long term.
