A spoiled lot when it comes to Oline play that group since the Super Bowl years.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post
I liked him coming out of the draft, he's sure struggled this year, he leads the league in drops (9). But I'd accept he is a good talent - why would we trade for a WR now - swap for who?
(side note fun fact: Both Ladd and Allen have more drops than QJ so far this year per official stat counters)
Saints fans are busy arguing if Ruiz is the worst lineman in the league.
Charger fans know the pain; they've seen it, they've spoken of it endlessly ....

When was it decided that PFF grades are the gold standard for evaluating players?Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post
Ruiz is not going to change the Chargers 2025 season one tick imo. His career PFF grades are: 58.6 (2020), 57.6 (2021), 56.6 (2022), 51.2 (2023), and his best at 67.6 in 2024. He's at 53 so far this year and Saints fans think he sucks. Why spend a 3rd for zero difference?
Wait it out, scheme to minimize 2025 weakness, and keep that powder dry until the next FA cycle and draft. Slater will play OT if he can return and they will know before FA period starts. book it.
2020 - 2023 shit PFF grades ....
Saint's management "Lets sign him to a 4 year, 44 million dollar contract, with 30 million upfront!"

Personally, not sold on the idea, but willing to consider it.
I don't really know him.

Jessie Morse, MD, online fantasy football medical expert, predicts 3 more weeks out of service for Omarion, as our guy was still seen recently wearing a boot.Originally posted by powderblueboy
I don't believe much of any of this. Aaron Jones/Jerome Ford .... okay, .... if Omarion aint' returning; but Breece Hall? And the jets say they aren't interested .... why does this story have legs?
No one wants Conklin ... like dangling a used pile of tissue paper.
Dissley this late in the year .... no!
Thibodeaux, Neal, ... stick a fork in that idea.Boze...Center of Attention

It's been 1 year and 8 games with the Chargers. I wouldn't call it an experiment. Harbaugh / Hortiz know what they have.Originally posted by powderblueboy View Post
The 4 year ongoing Boze from guard to center experiment?
I expect that we'll finish 2025 with Boze starting at C if he's healthy. Next year? IDK. I think draft, trade or FA C.

LOL.
Double points coupon available online.
Expires Tuesday at 1pm.
And 76 starts at 26 years old is solid.
Pff grades are subjective and don't have much to do in regard to change of team. Poona Ford didn't have great pff grade the year before Hortiz picked him up off the trash heap.
What was Daniel Jones pff grades prior to this year. Or Darnold before his time with Vikings and Seahawks? Or Mayfield before landing with Buccaneers?
If Harbaugh and Hortiz decided Ruiz is worth adding it could work out very well or maybe not. As you know there are no guarantees. But nothing wrong with trying to add competition to the roster.Who has it better than us?

Agreed. I think a key point may be the actual Center-Guard flexibility.Originally posted by Critty View Post
