Makes sense. He has his own, different red flags.

Adam's also makes sense, but that's a red flag for me.
I dont think so. He basically spent his whole career where its cold asside from Las Vegas where its rare if it snows here. The three CA teams will be good. SF has some work to do but they were in the 2024 SB.

I dont think we NEED to sign a vet WR. Maybe we will, maybe we wont.

SF has cap issues. I think the Chargers are the front runners if they want to spend the money.

I like Adams because I don't think he'll be top of the market expensive, won't factor into the comp formula, and he won't be a long term commitment.

He's a high level stop gap. The Chargers can sign him and give QJ time to develope or draft a WR in a better WR class than this year.

I dont think SF will pursue him, im just saying the aye a west coast team and they can be good. QJ is going into year 3. His time is next season.

I certainly don't blame him. I just want to make sure winning is his priority, and not weather or comfort.
especially if I'm dishing out big dollars.

no mention of championships or playing for a contender, just, prioritizing wanting to play "on the west coast".
              competitors welcomed.
Fat cats welcomed to apply elsewhere.
IDK, I think he cares about his legacy too much to coast for a couple of years on a final payday type deal...he already wasted a couple of years since leaving GB, I think he wants to get back to winning football...

With Higgins off the market - he is the best fit next to Ladd
I wouldn't mind bringing Mike Williams back for about half of what Adams is going to cost...Mike Dub at 12mil APY or Adams at 24mil APY? the only concern I have about Mike is he's way more injury prone than Adams so Adams is definitely worth that money, but damn, with that extra 12mil you can do a lot of good depth wise on the roster too...

2021: Slater should get extended - everybody else, gonzo
2022 : Zion is the only one left and he is not getting extended
2023: QJ is iffy, Tuli, Hanley and DD need to show more, McFadden released, Matlock won't cost a lot and Duggan gone
You are missing my point tho, what they do in this offseason could affect extensions over the next 3 years...look at how much 2022 JC Jackson deal fucked us and for how long...probably cost us Keenan and Mike and for sure cost us the ability to bid on some primo talent in last year's fantastic free agent bonanza...

there just aren't any really good qualified free agents out there that are worth the money they're going to get because of how shitty the class is...slowly we are seeing guys getting released and some of those guys might merit a good long look for sure...

Mike Williams based on last year is worth about $8m with incentives...

even better 8mil is a no brainer if that's all it'll cost to bring him in...

Higgins doesn't seem to be thrilled with the tag:
