Don't forget that after ~ pick 20, out to mid, late round 4 or even early round 5, the talent level will be superceded by team fit.

I think we are all perplexed why the most TWO obvious needs on the roster after that playoff game -- that would be RG and Center, have not been addressed

I am even okay keeping Pipkins on the roster as a backup swing tackle (though I think it should be more incentive based but not my moneyt

But for the cap hit of Trey Pipkins, which is the 6.75m cash part - Hortiz hasn't upgraded. Or Center.

He has time but this offseason to date would best be described as "hmm, quizzical"

I wonder if they kick the tires on Edge Dante Fowler? He had 11 sacks last year. I think he could be a good 2 year rental.

Mentioned him a couple times. Usually he is a 5-8 sack guy but had a good year last season. 1 year deal, maybe 2 and he would be nice depth and then we draft one....Edge covered....this season anyways.

There are some cement shoe types that will work for us.

Rounds 4, 5, 5 I am looking at EDGE, DE, RB these days.

What if Rice really was stashed on IR to hide him, and he was "rehabing" on that hill his old man famously trained on?

What if Justin E. was good enough to play, but Ford and Tart were doing so well, Jim and Joe honored the vets, and let them showcase their play? If your gonna use the one year deal as a tool, you gotta let em play if they earn it...nobody who is hungry and wants to revitilize their career is gonna take a 1 yr prove it deal to get buried on a depth chart...and we want guys on those deals to want to prove something...meanwhile, Justin E. watches, learns, maybe even trains more...no between game rest for him....

What if Junior is who everybody thought he was gonna be? That will be the best LB corp we have had in a decade or more.

What if Cam and Still build on their surprising success as rookies? With that really good safety group, one of the best secondary squads we have had in years.

Still work to do...yea...we need another good draft...but I consider last years haul a solid W...that makes this staff 1-0 in the draft...still optimistic.

Agree.....Rice is an afterthought here but they stashed him for a reason and he plays X. Maybe they brought MW back to help mentor him and he should be better this year and have the scheme down now. Im not saying he wil ball out but if he takes the next step he could be relevent.

Still id guess they move him to slot CB with these other signings.

We likely drafting one anyways and it could be a BPA. In the end, Pipkins should be released.
