Who cares right now. We have to wait for the 2027 draft for that. Comps are great when your OL isn't in shambles.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post
I agree about Seumalo but if he does the Jenkins path -- and he gets a 4th rounder perhaps. But as of now, no comp pick for Zion
Oweh would be a 3rd rounder - thats valuable
I know it's only day one and they will do something but just wanted one good OG from today. OL was the most pressing. Nothing else is as pressing as iOL. We got one of three. It's not panic time and he will do something but we missed out on a couple guys that one of them would of been nice.

Are you implying that Strange never played in a zone scheme before going to MIA?Originally posted by Boltinloudguy View Post
You got to take in account that he had to come in and learn that offense on the fly. Now he’s got a whole offseason with it. Also look at it as an upgrade of Becton, not a wash with Zion.

No this is not Spanos. They have opened their pocketbooks to give this team everything. This is Hortiz's inflexible Raven upbringinhgOriginally posted by Jack Burton View Post
Oh, I know.
I think you and me need to realize that the ownership still has its tentacles in this team. And while they might make an “executive decision” to allow the FO to spend money on an elite player that the staff is lobbying for like Alec Pierce this morning if they personally agree and deem it necessary, I don’t think they will ever allow the GM to just buy what he thinks he needs. I think it’s still the same ones pulling the strings and those strings regardless of the cap number are really short. I thought with Harbaugh this issue was going to change, but clearly even with MM coming here, it hasn’t. I imagine he will be gone after this year too after watching this..

You're smoking what I'm smoking.Originally posted by Maniaque 6 View PostStrange can play all 5 OL positions. It's a really good depth
I don't understand why people are so negative with the OL situation
Without both tackles and Zion, Becton and Boze at IOL, we got 11 wins !
The return of the 2 tackles + a real center + a real FB + a real blocking TE + a real OC, sky is the limit !!!!!!!
I'm smoking really good stuff or what ?
11 wins with the worst OL in NFL.
Going into next year before draft even has happened and they have upgraded at Center. Expecting Both pro bowl OTs back. Serviceable guard play. A better run blocker at FB in Ingold. A solid TE addition in Kolar. And a better play caller in McDaniel.
I look to the sky and see AFC West Champs in sight and a home playoff game.
Who has it better than us?

75th out of 81 guards in pass blocking works for you?Originally posted by DerwinBosa View Post
Cole Strange played well for the Dolphins last season. That's what should be looked at.
Do you really think Hortiz makes this signing without Mike McDaniel's approval?
Can we not aspire to a top offensive line with this team? What happened to tip of the spear and all that bullshit?

Based off of PFF? The same site that says Bradley Bozeman gave up two sacks the entire season?Originally posted by Jack Burton View Post
What video!?!? A couple highlights?!?! I gave his season stats. HE WAS TERRIBLE.
I'll ask the same question I just raised to CBF: Do you think this signing happens without McDaniel's approval?
