I don't know what's going on with Asante but now with Hart having his second concussion we could use him

Chargers need to have 3 solid safeties on the field to allow DJ to free range.Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post
it wouldn't have been possible to play Derwin like this without Molden, Gilman, Jefferson, and now Maye...My final Mock:
1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

I think they should give Leonard a chance and roll out Fulton, Still, and Leonard as the top 3 if Hart is out. Taylor is struggling and Leonard has shown some flashes here and there so it's worth a try.Originally posted by jamrock View PostI don't know what's going on with Asante but now with Hart having his second concussion we could use him

Wiki says he was a third-round draft pick that year, and was voted First-team NFL All-Rookie at cornerback. Wiki also says that he was born in Gutamala City, Guatamala, and that he was with the Chargers in 1986 and 1987. Was he injured? No information on why his career ended so suddenly. Wiki does say that he was a high school coach later on.

We are rapidly approaching the end of this season the same way we did last year.
Can't run the ball, can't stop the run, giving up chunk plays on defense, and can't keep Herbert healthy for a third straight season.
By what objective measure are we better?
I don't care about the win total. I wanted to see growth/improvement towards the end of the year and this team seems indistinguishable from Chargers teams of the recent past.
I'm comforted by the fact that we have someone not named Staley/Lynn/MCcoy etc running the show, but I am also alarmed at how some things simply don't change.
Oh well, onto 2025 I guess. The only way out is through. Hortiz has a helluva task in front of him. This team has so many needs it makes your head spin.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

Not really all that much. Staley's first 2 years he went 9-8 and then 10-7, before the wheels came off last year after Herbert was injured the last 5 games.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

These Chargers are 8-6.
Both Staley and these Chargers beat the easy teams on the schedule and lose the big games to the good teams on the schedule.
What is the huge difference?

You don't Win with the Xs and the Os. You Win with the Jimmys and the Joes. We've got Nathans and Teds.Originally posted by Boltx View PostWe are rapidly approaching the end of this season the same way we did last year.
