      Hmmm.
He might be a nice option across from OG

Granted, I think the focus has to be on IOL, Edge, and Dline
      But I like the name

Get better players/blockers across the board, I'm on board with it. But yeah, those 3 positions are very important to upgrade.

I kind of feel like with OG , his pass catching ability, the other TE can be more blocking heavy. Tre McBrides are not easy to find. But I think OG has a chance to be good

I just don't want Hortiz "spending out of order" in free agency.

Dallas Goedert is a solid, legit Y-TE and a direct replacement for Dissly.

He would give us better options in opening up the playbook in 12 personnel.

The other weak positions would only be helped, along with concurrently bringing in new and improved players.

I just want to see the Chargers continue to upgrade in all faucets if they can and not overpay or overdraft for players.

People have been getting on Hortiz for neglecting the IOL, he hasn't. It's just the FA's they have brought in haven't panned out. Becton has been a huge disappointment and might be a healthy scratch today. James hasn't shown much. I do believe this will be the year of the trenches though. Hortiz has done an outstanding job of retooling the skill positions he now needs to work on the trenches.

I’d be happy just drafting another developmental TE.
We wanted Jackson Hawes all offseason and he’s had a nice rookie year for BUF as their blocking TE.
Fixing the O line helps the TE passing game massively for Gadsden.

I agree, draft a TE in the 3rd or 4rth round after you already addressed IOL and Edge, then take another IOL and TE in later rounds too..

This is why I think Hortiz - and yes, a broken record - might be more inclined to trade back this year. Chargers have 4 picks in Rounds 1-5 as it stands. I think it would be nice if he could get that to 6, if not 7 picks by the end of R5.

Chargers have so many players they just need better players. Or depth. Edge, OL (all three), DL, LB.

Any word on the Salyer injury? Meanwhile we had Bobby Hart and Austin Deculus at OT and gave up zero sacks for the first time in over a year

They did great, but it was the Cowboys. We start those two vs the Texans front and it will be a different story. Not having Salyer could be rough.

I just want to bask in the glory of a no sack day for 24 hours
