I spent a winter a Counsil Bluffs Iowa. Couldn't wait to leave. Snow sucks.

I recently installed a cold air intake on my Durango, it does not get that hot here in Birmingham but it gets humid. Just spending 30 minutes in the garage made me sweat like crazy. I don't mind it as much as I thought I would, the humidity that is. Spring, Fall and Winter are awesome here. Summer sucks.Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post
Not me. I hate snow and those temps year round, .....nah. we lived in Everett WA for a year and could handle that but it was hardly ever sunny. Cloudy and overcast often.
I can deal with the heat when I don't have to work in it.....which I don't have to now.
It's funny, when I was working, it is hot and sometimes miserable but you get used to it. Now, not working in it I go in the backyard and I'm like .....fuck this, I'm going in 😆.
I installed a new 7" head unit in my truck replacing my stock smaller one on a 105 degree day in my garage and that sucked. That was almost two years ago and i was used to it but it was miserable. No breeze in the garage.. I don't have a mini split unit in there. I should get one.

I moved to Nashville almost 3 years ago and the humidity in the summer does get pretty bad here as well. Absolutely love the other 3 seasons.Originally posted by FoutsFan View Post

Speaking of the Merced River, a friend of mine has done a lot of gold panning and, before it was banned, dredging in the Merced River near Briceburg and Bagby. He showed me some big gold nuggets he got from dredging. Nice country.Originally posted by Velo View Post
That stretch of 49 between Mariposa and Coulterville, is it still a beast? I grew up in Modesto, we'd take 99 to 140. I love that drive along the Merced River. From Sac now, I take 120 through Groveland. My family has a place at Pine MT Lake, so we'll stay there sometimes.

Do the Chargers charge for tickets to training camp practices? Or do they just require you to get in ad*****? About 18K people a day around TitleTown District during camp. First come first serve for seats at practice, but always free and no worry about needing tickets to attend.Originally posted by BlazingBolt View PostI got 3 tickets for Saturday it looks like I can't use. I will post in the ticket section and here see if anyone's interested in free ticket transfer.
I am going Friday the 26th

You can STILL pan for gold...I've done it a few times...BUT it's the dredging part that has been banned...dredging is when you go in to the bottom of the riverbed while the river is running, with a suction hose and suck up the sand, run it through a river sluice and extract the gold...some people say it damages the ecosystem...Originally posted by foreigner View Post

Welcome to the forum, Packer Fan.
I'll try to keep my Packers love in the NFL section of the site. I know some fans get triggered over having a fan from another team on their forum. I figured Chargers fans don't hate the Packers as much as Bears and Vikings fans do. lol. And we don't play each other this season until the Super Bowl, so we can be friendly till then.:-)
I'll close with this: Packers 11 and 2 against the Chargers all-time. Chargers beat the Pack in 1984 and 2019.
