I'd pass on those:

• Jennings too pricey and redundant in skill set with Tre
• Deebo Samuel too pricey and past prime
• Stefon Diggs...legal and ethical issues

I now think if we acquire a FA WR it will be to fill the 5th WR position, so either someone who is a perfect match for McDaniel and/or someone who is good in ST. Players under $3 mil with no comp pick ramifications.

With that in mind these names

• Brandin Cooks, still a speed merchant
• Noah Brown or Tim Patrick, bigger targets who play ST

If we target a stud WR it will be via trade or draft, IMO.

I don't mind the idea of a player like Cooks or Patrick on the PS post training camp - just in case KLS isn't ready- you have the veteran ready to bring up.

KLS, Campbell, Grimm - who knows

If all the Guards and all the tackles that we like are off the board at #22 I would look to move down a few spots to draft this guy...I think he will touch the ball at least 10 times a game and is a playmaker. I think he's gone in the first 40 picks. Dawg player!

Yeah both those guys are always injured and have no value to us. Rather bring Keenan back or just see as you said what KLS can do in his 2nd season. I honestly at this point do not see a WR in FA'cy who they will bring in.

They can draft one in round 2. There are options over bringing in those that have been mentioned. Even Keenan in MM system can thrive better and not have to rely on those short routes with a bad OL. McConkey getting back to form as well.
Brazzell, Bernard, Surratt, Skyler Bell round 2 if we Trade down in round 2, pick up a pick....there are options.
We dont need to sign a turd like Diggs and we have a couple guys on the PS who may make a jump in Campbell and Grimm.

All comes down to what MM is thinking there.

You think he gets 10 touches a game as a Rook? Ahead of who we have now? IDK bout that. McC, Harris and QJ going to get their snaps...but he is a good piece to work in.
