maybe there's a cross breeze at the Bolt? Where's their caddy to sort the alignment adjustment?

My guess is Zion needs to shoot that snap straight at him and hit him dead center if he wants that job. no left, no right, no cutesy fucking around - dead center above the waist and below the chest 100 out of 100 times.

and get some big asst coaches or PS DTs to stand over him and hit him the second he snaps it too.

Right .....but that center is now either going to play LG or OC so he won't fix nothing. Zion is either OC or LG. Never played OC and wasn't great at LG but he is the less of the evils.

James , you never know. Maybe he wins the OC job which to me is best case,..... but JH2 seem bent on having Bozeman somewhere.

If it's Zion and Bozeman no matter where they play , either one at LG or OC,..... if Becton gets hurt the next man up is Pipkins. Thus the same OL as last year.

I'm not expecting anything from the rookie.

Just my 2 cents, I think with the RBs they have now they will be able to cover any weakness they have on the oline in regard to pass protection. The running game will be a threat with or without Beckton. Of course, it should be better with him. Defenses will not be able to just pin their ears back and go after Herbert like last year and if they try stunts and crosses Hampton has a good chance of blowing right by them.

Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

There will be many interesting sub-plots going on in the AFC West this year, and you named one of them.

* At #6 overall, the Raiders took Ashton Jeanty. They could have taken any RB, but Jeanty was their guy.

* There wasn't another RB chosen until the Chargers took Omarion Hampton at #22.

* Denver-- picking two spots in front of the Chargers, at #20-- could have picked Hampton, but took a CB instead.

If Hampton runs wild for the Bolts-- and Jeanty doesn't for the Raiders-- Vegas will look like buffoons. That would be icing on the cake for Charger fans, because...whom among us doesn't enjoy seeing the Raiders looking like buffoons?

If Hampton is a factor in victories over the Broncos? Kind of makes the Broncos look like dopes for bypassing Hampton, unless their rookie CB (Jahdae Barron) leads the league in INTs, or something.

Based on his past success, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that Greg Roman will know how to optimize the skillset that Hampton possesses. The stage is set for a really interesting season ahead.

Main reason I put that in my sig is because before the draft I had Hampton rated higher than Jeanty. I personally think Jeanty will have fumbling issues but that's just my opinion. Also, as you stated Hampton is coming into a place he can flourish. We will just have to wait and see.

Jeanty has a clear path to 250+ carries as the centepiece of the Raiders offense . Hampton has to split the backfield with Najee Harris and will probably defer to the veteran early on.

Hampton will win more.... but Hampton wil always share carries with at least one other RB... Jeanty will be only back on field for raiders ...unless they are winning by so much that he can rest...

More longevity
and a better second contract.

Najee is in essence on a 1 year deal.
I doubt they split carries if Hampton looks to be the guy.

I think both Jeanty and Hampton will be stars. Nice thing for us is that Hampton is used to running behind a subpar OL that doesn't blow open holes for him. That will come in handy on our team.
