This preseason has been boring to me....

at this point, the news is about which starters ARE playing preseason. most starters sit out.

preseason games today are about seeing rookies and backups compete for spots.

the kicker is that season ticket holders are charged full ticket price for the glorified practice that they call a preseason game. I was against a 17 game season, and eventually 18 game. however, if it gets rid of another preseason game, i am all for it.

That doesn’t fit the narrative of he is already lost for the season. Some people will be pissed Harbaugh isn’t supporting and following the narrative.

its just a preview of what we will get come the real season. hes been out 3 weeks already. yes he'll be there for game 1, and maybe even game 2. Then, out for 4 weeks with a paper cut. And we lose a few. back for 3 then out again. Lose more. and if we are lucky to get to the post season its a road trip to Buffalo or Cincinatti in December. I remember the Freeze Bowl. Thats why we need gladiators in September. He aint it. Another Mike Williams.....but i loved that guy.

Harbaugh said during yesterday's press conference that Easton Stick will play "the duration of the game" tomorrow and Luis Perez will step in if Stick "breaks a chinstrap."

I view this as Stick's last chance. I think it's clear now that the backup will either be Stick or a quarterback Hortiz picks up from another team. It's not going to be Perez. I do think Perez will be the #3, which will be good for him and us.
