Yep they are kind of that stupid tho. Basically what I'm saying is I would rather offer something that would never be accepted over a 1 and 3 for DK. That's out. I would also rather see the Chargers draft Mathew Golden in the first over giving Adams 20 m!

The hawks are definitely not getting what they want for Metcalf but if it's any more than a day 3 pick I am out. I'm not the biggest fans of signing wide outs in their 30s but if Adams would take a cap friendly deal I'd go for it.

Yer boy Sikema is saying Booker ain’t going in the 1st now. His on the field drills were apparently really bad. He tested really poorly. I heard this elsewhere and I’ve noticed he’s kinda fallen in mocks but I saw Sikema and
Dalton Wassermann who I really like, we’re discussing risers and fallers. TE Terrance Ferguson a riser..

lol I have heard that. Sikkema isnt a massive fan because he sees a real lack of athleticism for a high pick. Hard to argue that from the combine, his testing was dismal, like at the bottom of all lineman. Sikkema does acknowledge though that Booker does have backers in the NFL and will go in the first round, just likley not as high and not to teams that are heavy zone and or need guards to move in space. For a power gap team that wants a mauler inside he could be the guy...Sikkema mentioned the Chargers as one such team.

I am really hoping Booker is not the pick for us. I dont trust the Alabama bust factor, and i know what happens on the field is more important than combine results but I dont want our top pick in the entire draft to have just put up brutal athletic results either. Really dont want another Fluker or Leatherwood

I would be all about signing Adams and draft Golden in the 1st. Having Adams, Golden and McConkey as you top 3 would be pretty lethal. Then take at TE and RB in the next 2 rounds. TE Ferguson looks to be on the rise after his athletic combine performance.

If they could go Loveland in the 1st and Jayden Higgins in the 2nd after signing Adams, I would be just as happy. I am just having a hard time seeing Loveland drop to 22 at this point.

Hopefully SEA trades Metcalf to a team right behind the Chargers and SEA would be open to trading 18 for 22..

He was never on the PS. He was on the roster and made inactive except for at least one game. Was in the roster at least half of the season or a little more, then was sent to IR.

I know I saw him on the active roster a few times, but I thought he went back to the PS?

Nothing on defense before the 3rd round ?
Could be a very good def player there at 22 or 55.

No guarantees that Golden will be there at 22 so would have to trade up. Adams guarantees you have your WR position and you can still draft Golden

Chargers have plenty of effing cap space. They truly do. They can pay good players to make the roster better.

I know I saw him on the active roster a few times, but I thought he went back to the PS?

he was on the 53 roster until IR. He was only active on gameday in 3 games (of about 7 or 8) before he went to IR for the rest of year. No offensive snaps, a few ST plays, no stats in those 3 games.

They saw a little something to keep him on the roster despite not contributing. maybe they saw things that were very different than what he showed in those couple PS games. I'll trust them, just not betting a next season on him. hope to be surprised.
