Both those guys seem like ST demons more than anything. The Ex-Packer was a big time playmaker in college, but was sick/injured last year and they moved on. Not sure if I would expect more than those guys contributing on ST's in the immediate future.

So you agree that Bird will be starting though the buy week and the need for a run stuffing DE is excentuated with Bird or one of the two new ILBs we signed havi.g to start due to injury.

No, not at all. One has nothing to do with the other. We needed a rotational DE to play on run downs regardless of what happens with Te'o. I see him starting week 2 if he doesn't practice by Wed.

We are right around week 3, which is a typical time frame for a mild foot sprain. The only issue is that the team didn't give a real time frame on the recovery.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

You should bother, but you should manage your expectations. If your response is directed at OIP with the hope that he will actually respond in good faith or not parse your comments, or misrepresent them or go off to obtuse land, no. But if you think there is value in going through the process and setting the record straight / defeating bogus argumentation / shooting fish in a barrel, then chive on.

It may seem trivial, but I think it's worth it. He (and his Old Marine triumvirate) can't ever be persuaded, but others can.

Aren't these the same guys who are pissed that we didn't re-sign some of the old deadwood defenders too? I note those contracts are missing in all of this "expert analysis."

I have seen reference to the "Old Marine" here a few times now. What poster are you referring to and is he a "former Marine"?
