    A pointless exercise.

The who should they have signed? Or who should they have drafted is beside the point.

They had options. What I believe is they decided to ignore those options believing a OL would fall.

    Instead they reached.

    Lesson learned

Pointless is this baseless assertion you keep repeating.

If he formed an opinion, someone might use the search on him!

I said before free agency who I thought they should sign. They didn't sign those people.

Should I harp on the fact that Tommy T didn't chose or sign who I thought he should have?

Or should I move on with the players he did chose and discuss them?

That none of you have any memory of my preferred choices is not my fault or an interesting discussion.

That who is currently on the 53 is of interest. But to claim Tommy T didn't have choices is a lie

Starks wasnt that good in Pittsburgh. Ben has had a bad OL for a few years and last year they tried to start getting better and younger. McKinney has never been that good but because he had a decent run in Balt in the playoffs suddenly he was gold.

they've lived off of their reputation of drafting and developing OL players for so long that charger fans start salivating at acquiring any of their castoffs.

From what I understood, the Steelers O line would only suck when the team benched Starks. Then it would get its stuff back together as soon as Starks was back on the field.
That's why I had hopes that Starks would help us out. But either I heard wrong or he just suddenly went to crap the moment we signed him.

You are correct. I have nobody to name.

I had players I named before free agency. That you can't remember the players I named is neither relevant or important. And bringing them up now is as pointless as saying Tommy T should've drafted any player other that Fluker.

Those are the players he chose. There were other choices but its pretty irrelevant.

Sure, he also had other choices to sign at any possition but money matters this year. Sure stings to cut two guys that are getting guaranteed money this year. Telescos hands were tied a bit by AJ. You cant go out and get LT's that will cost like on that list and im surprised he gave that much for a CB but we were real thin there too. I think 2 years, 6.3 mil for McKinney is rediculous.
