Hoculi makes the right call on a Manning fumble.

The ball is still in Manning's hand when he made his forward passing motion. How is that a fumble?

It looked to me that he didn't have control of the ball when his arm was going forward. Play was reviewed, and Hochuli would have owned up to a mistake if there was one. If anything Hochuli is pretty good at that.

The control thing is iffy because the ball never appeared to leave his hand even though it was loose from being hit by Matthews.

OBJ is no Plaxico or Nicks, that's for sure. Those guys showed up in big games and the playoffs.

Hope all the Charger fans who want a WR in the first round watched OBJ's vanishing act. I'm good with the receiving corps we have. No need to waste draft capital on an overdrafted and eventually overpaid diva receiver when we have an elite QB who can make any receiver look good. I want Derek Barnett.

Aaron Rodgers is ridiculously good. I've never seen such a combination of mobility and accuracy. Take the Hail Mary out of it.

Just look at those 2nd half drives... he was just slinging it. Right on the money, hitting guys in stride... time and time again.

I wouldn't take the Hail Mary's out either - his arm strength allows him to get a higher arc on those passes than most other QB's and he drops them right into the back of the end zone. Easily the best QB in the league, IMO.

I agree, his pocket awareness/mobility is incredible...has to be the best ever throwing a football on the run

I've been watching football for 50 years and when I watch him I ask myself if I ever saw anyone do it better than that.....hyperbole??
