I'm just posting to formally welcome the latest loser coach hired by the family of losers in charge of that loser franchise. Hope he enjoys losing lots of games in a half-empty soccer stadium!
Welcome Anthony Lynn, the new HC

I've had some time to read up on him and let the emotions settle.
And I still think that even if the team weren't leaving, I would have bailed after this announcement. This franchise is in desperate need of a culture change (as some sports reporter recently stole from discussions here), and I have no reason to believe that someone with this level of past experience could possibly pull that off. The Chargers needed a disciplinarian, not a "player's coach." In fact, that's quite the opposite.

Isn't this the exact (cheap) hire we expected. even if the Bolts got one year extended and made this hire I would be disappointedOriginally posted by captaind View PostI've had some time to read up on him and let the emotions settle.

Maybe not "exact", but certainly appears cheap. If Bradley does get hired, at least the chargers will have two former HC's in waiting. I haven't heard that they fired the ST coordinator, if they keep him, that certainly is cheap.Originally posted by bonehead View PostIsn't this the exact (cheap) hire we expected. even if the Bolts got one year extended and made this hire I would be disappointed

John Fassel (Rams ex ST's coach is available). He is probably one of the better options out there.Originally posted by Bolt-O View PostMaybe not "exact", but certainly appears cheap. Heard in another thread that there was some shenanigans going on over here and possibly some new coach bashing. Before SC, captain and fleeter kick me out for being too bitter, I just wanted to go on record as saying -I hope this Coach fails and never wins a single game. I hope Dean regrets that he moved to Los Angeles and I hope each and every game is short of a sellout... lastly, I hope they keep those stupid backwards lightning bolts!

Welcome Anthony Lynn, the new HC
It was reported that the Spani/Telsaco wanted to keep the offensive staff. How many head coach candidates are willing to accept the job with those contingencies. My guess is they got stuck with this guy!Originally posted by Maverick View PostWhat a fucking dumpster fire this chargers organization is!
Anthony Lynn? SERIOUSLY? Is he really the best HC this team could get?
Never mind the fact that he has very little coordinator experience, much less as a HC....I just don't see the fit with this team. Oh well, they're 2 hours away, & suddenly I have more money in my pocket. Fuck em!
Just like the spani to have 107 defensive minded coaches on your list and you pick the one offense minded option!

I think Patricia would've kept the offensive staff also, but he'd cost a lot more to sign considering he's coaching a current playoff team and still employed compared to LynnOriginally posted by TBF View PostIt was reported that the Spani/Telsaco wanted to keep the offensive staff.
