I think so. Morris-Brash is a UDFA, I'm thinking that era of getting a small school guy on the 53 is now passed, with Hortiz at the personnel helm.

New regime means BUSINESS! Chargers org attracting true depth players now (Dupree, Jefferson, Tart), not just UDFA long shots.

Stick will be gone once Hortiz claims a different QB from the wire.

Maybe the first initial 53 to not have a rookie Undrafted Free Agent. Did I miss someone? I though Morris-Brash would make it.

The three biggest surprise for me:

1. Smartt over Parham or any of the other TEs. I hope it turns out to be a smart move.

2. JT Woods. Why, what is about him that screams "keep me?"

3. Seven WRs.

I am very stoked about having 7 WRs on the roster. I didn't think they would do it. But it's what I would do. When you turnover the WR corps like they did this season, it's smart to roster a plethora of young talent to see what you have or don't have in these guys to rebuild the WR room. Love it! I hope they can sneak Cornelius Johnson onto the PS. I think he has legit NFL chops.

If this means that they see something good and achievable with Woods? Great!

Smartt showed them something they liked, that we didn't get to see. Same with Brenden Rice.

I wondered if Hart had shown enough to survive the cut, and happy that happy that he did. Really like his size/speed/athleticism combo.

Maybe too obvious, but Tony Jefferson deserved to make the team. I wonder about Rumph, if he just gets the IR settlement. I think Stick and Woods are on the bubble.

That game Jefferson had against Dallas was amazing. He did not look like a 32 year old player. More like a 23 year old. I am so pumped to see what our defense can do in the regular season. If Tart's head is totally in the game we could have gotten a steal there. He appears to have freakish physical ability. He could make us good at what figured to be a somewhat weak area. And I love the potential of our LB's and d-backs. Minter seems to have made a difference already. We'll see for sure pretty soon.
