Hassan might not look like anything special but he's a Harbuagh guy...
He fits the bully-ball mold. Glad he was cleared of DV charges would not support pick otherwise.

Played in 15 games for the Titans in 2022 as a rookie. 25 carries for 93 yds, 3.7 ypc.
Injured in a preseason game last year, missed the entire 2023 season.
Was a special teams ace for Tenn in 2022, 2nd most tackles, also returned kickoffs.
Has a legal history, was arrested for domestic violence assault on his live-in GF last year.

      College highlights.

Highlights: Michigan Running Back Hassan Haskins | Big Ten Football in the 2022 NFL Draft
Hassan's girlfriend robbed him at gun point ($2,500) and tried to choke him, they were both arrested but she was the one that assaulted him not the other way around...this is why she was facing charges which he had dismissed and he was removed from the commissioner's excempt list once all the facts came out...Steve McNair was killed by his girlfriend in Tennessee, what is going o n with the women over there, sheesh?!

Gus Edwards can play FB (Even carry the ball from that position in short yardage). Imagine Gus at FB with Haskins behind him for 3rd and 1.
RB = JKD, Haskins, Vidal, Patterson (Patterson's good)
LOL. Not sure why people are under valuing the TE position so dramatically. Chiefs, Ravens and Patriots before them all had great TE's. I seem to recall in the discussion about the value of WRs that somebody pointed out that a great TE was more important to team success than a great WR.

Good to know this. Don't think Harbaugh would have brought him in, otherwise.

The ONLY reason I could fathom is he could be waterboarded to give up the playbook and maybe that’s why Chargers are hanging on to him.
Improved from an abysmal 14+ QBR to 48 QBR to 60 QBR in 3 preseason games. He's an "ascending" player. At that rate, he'll be at 80 QBR, then 100 the next games. "Ascending" Lol

Least it wasn't going the other way with each game (downward)

                      😊

P.S. He played for Ravens before Broncos so Hortiz is very familiar with him. I think this is an outstanding signing for insurance.
                      It's definitely a step in the right direction . . . . . . . . . . .

Chiefs signed Samaje Perine, might have been better.
Coach is bringing in people he trusts in the locker room with the culture, Hassan runs hard and yes he might not be better than Perine but coach knows what he brings to the team from a character POV...

their emergency practice squad center ended up on IR, they needed this bad, glad he chose the chargers over the donkeys...
