He fits the bully-ball mold. Glad he was cleared of DV charges would not support pick otherwise.

chemistry????..... not really.... he melts down under pressure..... but number one is you cannot keep a QB who cannot consitently pass on target.... Stick misses lots of short easy passes, and has NEVER EVER looked good in pre season or otherwise.....if he plays against a team that can stop the run he has zero value..... if he is an offensive genius then hire him as an assitant coach..... almost EVERY 2nd or 3rd string QB out there is much better than Stick.....finding a worse one is difficult...Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostSo let me get this straight...we wanna cut Stick, who has good chemistry with the team, and is Herbs QB room bro, because he will lose games, so we can sign someone new, spending a few million at least, and maybe some draft picks, so they can...lose also, but by not as much? Cuz Im not seeing any winners out there....I just want to be clear on the forum priorities here...
I think Herbie plays 17 plus games this year, and the issue gets addressed next year...my take.

Maybe dude's a "melting stick."
A good example to Herbert - How NOT to play.
Harbaugh: Dude, don't play like him! See that pass he just threw in practice "BEHIND" the receiver? Do the opposite. Throw yours in "FRONT" of the receiver accurately.
JH: Um, ok coach!
Learn from other people's mistakes.

yes, except the draft picks part. Sign a better FA/waived QB because Stick will lose games if he is ever needed. He lost every game he was ever needed in. it took 6 DAL turnovers for him to not lose that final PS game. QB2 is insurance, you don't buy insurance that, if ever needed, won't pay for anything.Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostSo let me get this straight...we wanna cut Stick, who has good chemistry with the team, and is Herbs QB room bro, because he will lose games, so we can sign someone new, spending a few million at least, and maybe some draft picks, so they can...lose also, but by not as much? The ONLY REASON to have a backup QB2 is to play and win games in an emergency. Remember the game 2 (3? 4?) years ago when the Broncos ran out of QBs after losing 3 QBs, how painfully pathetic that was? Thats where we are at if we lose just our starter. Never should be that way.
Stick has horrible chemistry with our receivers based on his shit passing that is never targeted to hit them. What even is this "chemistry" crap - what player DOES NOT have "good chemistry" with the rest of the team? Pay me a couple million even though I can't play any position for shit, I'll have the best fucking chemistry this side of Breaking Bad.
"QB room bro" ... lol, i spit up a lil bit in my mouth on that one.Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

IMHO it is Stone Smartt who is being undervalued.Originally posted by jamrock View Post
LOL. Not sure why people are under valuing the TE position so dramatically. Chiefs, Ravens and Patriots before them all had great TE's. I seem to recall in the discussion about the value of WRs that somebody pointed out that a great TE was more important to team success than a great WR.Boze...Center of Attention
