Not sure why they didn't do it earlier, might have saved losing Harper to the Raiders

A Turd fan just told me Bowers is having foot issues in camp so their probably gonna hold on tight to Mayer.

Impossible to say at this point, IMO. Injuries, retirements, trades, 2024 performances can change those priorities pretty dramatically.

what if Tart and Ford excel? They’ve played well in the past.

what if QJ sucks and one of the other WR’s tears an ACL?

what if ………. I’m sure you have plenty of your own.

It just seems wildly premature to speculate at this point because our end of season evaluation will change a lot based on so many unforseen variables.

So it was a 2025 7th(6th?) for QB Heinekie and 2026 7th for the CB Molden. Nicely done Joe.
Who has it better than us?

RB is a very good class next year. We may require a good one in the 3rd round. Dobbins and Edwards are no sure things are not necessarily long term things.
Are there any sure things in the NFL when you factor in injuries?

Dobbins and Edwards could be excellent. Especially Dobbins if he remains healthy. But Hortiz understands that which is why we have better depth at RB than the Telesco era.

It's 47-48. You get 48 players on the active roster if you activate 8 offensive line players. 46 was prior to 2020.

                Woods can't tackle.
My quote was referring to another DB they lost out on named Shemar Bartholemew.
That' when I said what I said about "Um, what about JT Woods...Minter said he's good, blah blah."
I referred to bringing him back if they didn't get that Barthlemew guy who was cut from the Jets and picked up the Panthers who put in a claim before we did.

                NOT about QB Stick

Doubt they trade us Mayer for Parham and Woods. Doubt they want to trade him at all.

Mayer had a nice second half of the season and he gives them 2 good TEs and Bowers has a foot issue right now.

Though last a saw on the news here Pierce says he would be ready week 1.

Yeah, he hasn't practiced for two weeks. Pierce says he's confident Bowers will play wee 1 though. I posted a couple of articles on the pregame thread.

on the Heinicke trade it's going to be a 7th unless Herbert is out for a significant portion of the season and even then Taylor has to reach certain milestones to unlock that 6th rounder for the Falcons...not worried about it in a year when we are scheduled to have no less than four 6th round picks due to compensatory formula...

For Molden it's a 7th for sure but two drafts into the future so essentially an 8th or 9th round pick value if we had that many rounds still...
