I agree that they should, but the ticket seller in this draft is Watson.
Time to FU this Spanoses
Drafting Watson won't sell any tickets as Rivers isn't going anywhere and he is not ready to start. The best way to sell tickets is to get a player who can contribute as a rookie, fix the line and ST, and hope the new coach gets more out of the team than McCoy. With the Rams being horrible and not having their first and third round picks to go along with no QB, they'll likely suck again and the Chargers have a small window to generate some excitement IF they bounce back this year.

You are using logic. Now hit yourself on the brainpan with something heavy, and look at it like a Spanos would.
Besides Watson would sit for at least a year or 2 and then would be ready for Inglewood, as Rivers is likely declining or traded by then.
Big picture Spanosing!

The reality is you and all else have no idea the business decisions made in the closed office between Lynn and Spanii snd TT. Lynn said the Whiz was on top of his list LAST year when he was interviewing so why expect him to lie day 1? Whiz is a proven coordinator that has consistently had top 10 to top 5 offenses as an OC. He wasnt great as a head coach but who cares. I think Lynn isnt blowing smoke here. I frankly think TT was wise not yo let the Whiz walk snd give the HC his choice at keeping him.
