It won't, but that doesn't mean I won't keep looking.

I went to the Jazz game last night with my daughter's b-ball team and some other dads from our neighborhood were there as well. Through a weird coincidence, there were two other Charger fans in that group. Three of us with different opinions, sort of a microcosm of the entire fan base. Of the three of us, one swore off the Chargers forever, one does not care about the move and is on board regardless and the other (me) still does not know WTF he is gonna do! I will say, I am still reading news, looking at draft prospects and listening to interviews (Gordon on Rome) as if nothing has changed and I am sure by the time the season rolls around I will be on board again.
Then I think of Spanos and get pissed off again...I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.

I get the emotional distaste for the Spanii.....I also believe the City did some sit-n-spin activities for whatever 15 years when they could have tried to make things work too.....the part that hasn't changed is the players and my team....its still my Chargers and I too can't just pack it up and box it away. I love watching Chargers football and its been a part of my life through the shit years and the great years. Its like a marriage....just because my in-laws might suck (Spanii) doesnt mean I divorce my wife that I enjoy having fun with even though she's underperforming of late (neither of which is true personally btw!).
I'm here...already thinking of next year and what's in store. Hoping to see the Cheats get another SB loss and Belicheat Brady running into the locker room without handshakes.

I'm not forgetting how San Diego's spineless politicians contributed to this disaster too. All it took for this FREE stadium deal to pass was for the politicians to get on board and praise it publicly. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

I am still confused and don't know how I feel. I just try to think less about the NFL for now.
I am not sure if I will watch week 1 next year. I have barely been watching any of the playoffs.
When they start winning though....I don't know how I will feel. Right now they are just a crappy team that left San Diego to play in a tiny stadium in LA.migrated from chargerfans.net then the thenflforum.com then here

I am with ya about the NFL BB. I usually love the Super Bowl and look forward to it every year but with the Bolts leaving and all the craziness in the country right now, I care less about this SB than any other I can remember since I was a little kid. I have watched no news coverage of it this week and won't watch any of the pre-game Sunday because I will be snowboarding all day. I will go to our friend's usual SB party and watch it (it will most likely just be back ground noise) but I really could not give a shit about it or who wins.Last edited by UtahBolt; 02-03-2017, 09:00 AM.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.

I recently joined as a member but have been a lurker on this site for years. Long time, 37+ yr Chargers fan who has always lived on the east coast and became a fan watching the team on Monday night football a couple times a yr, with the #1 ranked offense in the league and a poorly ranked defense. Their games were high scoring and exciting to watch, and loved the uniforms. That's how I became a fan. I read this site daily and learn so much from everyone. I just can't give up being a fan of the team, but understand how the local San Diego/California fans feel about the whole deal with the team moving north. Looking forward to what the team does to improve via free agency and draft, and continuing to learn from everyone.
