I'd put it more on the offense. -5 yards and 1 or 2 first downs in a half means the TOP all steelers.

My outlook for the rest of the season depends heavily on the extent of the injuries. I expect at least one of our starting tackles if not both go on IR which means you don't get herbert back out there until he is fully healed in week 7 or so.

Without tackles and QB we will not be able to establish run, all our philosophy going down the toilet.

Losing Slater caused the house of cards in offense to crumble. Moving Pipkins back to RT and Alt to LT which they haven’t been practicing at so they can block one of the best pass rushing duos in the league was a recipient for disaster. It’s Roman’s fault for it having Salyer ready to fill in at LT or RT so we could keep the continuity.

after that it was horrible luck with Herbert and alt.

Bosa always gets injured, the refs handed the Steelers the TD and this team wasn’t ready for the stress of beating a tough Steelers team and the NFL.

it sucks but we don’t have the horses to blow people out.


Dobbins is exposed for being a good not great back. He can’t really carry an offense, he needs the oline to create for him and then he can do damage (unlike Gus). We need a difference maker at RB if we’re going to run this much. A RB who can bail out his line if they have a bad game.

Both bookends and your QB goes down. That's not the reason we lost. But it certainly sucks going forward.
