Looks like they will have an all backup team on the field against the Chiefs Sunday. That sucks bigly. I'm not sure I even want to watch the game.

Looks like having the early bye might turn out to be a savior. Hopefully they all heal during the layover and return Oct. 13 ready to rumble.

The Chargers may not be watchable until the middle of next month.
I have always thought of this as a mini-rebuilding year. I also think 9-8 would be a hugely successful season. We need more 'horses', especially on offense. It's too much to expect the team that has experienced as many changes as they have to hit the ground running at full throttle. And now we're dealing with injuries to arguably our 3 most 'key' players.

It seems every year we lose important studs by week 2 or 3.

I am not one to blame anything on Ben Herbert, this is just Charger luck....but apparently paying him 1 million + doesnt make a tad of diference either lol

Think of it this way... maybe Ben Herbert strengthened their bodies so that they only miss a few weeks instead of the full season.

Bingo and let’s watch the recovery times on these guys. It’s not just us and the Bengals just pulled Lawrence Guy off the couch as their dline is decimated especially their depth.

Hortiz just signed former Eagles 1st rnd disappointment WR Jalen Reagor to the PS. If he succeeds to the roster, the Chargers will have three TCU WRs in their depth chart. Reagor is most famous for being drafted one pick before Justin Jefferson in 2020. He has not been a complete and total bust, but he's pretty much been a disappointment. The Eagles traded him to the Vikes after two seasons, but he didn't last and ended up in NE, who released him from their PS a few weeks ago. He has 79 catches for 937 yds and 4 TDs in four seasons.

He works during the regular season, unlike Telesco

that 2nd-to-last ATL drive non-PI in the end zone was as bad a non-call as I've (not) seen all year - holy shit, especially after the huge national discussion about the PI they got last week.

So yeah, fuck the score or winning, lets go in with a stack of rowdy angry backups - fuck the penalty flags and fines, lets just go play 'fist in the dick' against them as many times as we can in 60 minutes. chop their knees, gouge their eyes, claw their faces, grab facemasks and torque their necks, stomp their feet - just fuck the chiefs up like the Hanson bros in Slapshot.

To be honest, those stats aren't bad if they happened over the course of one season. These are the same stats that Rashee Rice had last season. As it is, this move is likely to replace Derius Davis, as Reagor has shown ability to return kicks and punts previously.

I think Davis has been disappointing thus far. Fair catches on punts with people 10 yards down the field and inside the 10 yard line plus numerous running out of the endzone to the 10/15 yard line. One thing about this regime is they put people on notice.
