Hint - several teams beat them in meaningful games for their teams, the Denver Broncos and Sean Payton last year trying to make the playoffs but missed out at 8-9, Antonio Pierce and the Las Vegas Raiders same thing 8-9, Phillip Rivers and the 12-4 Chargers won in Arrowhead. Joe Burrow and the Bengals to get to the Superbowl. Tom Brady and the Bucs.

It's doable, just not lately with Herbert.

Chiefs are beatable and watch they lose next week to the Saints after we physically beat them up today, like the Steelers lost today after playing us.

You bring up Rivers as playing in a meaningful game in the past couple of years? LOL.

Herb missed some throws that could have changed the game. OL missed some key blocks on small runs that could have been big runs

Jesse Minter defense is legit.

Let's not let his "playmakers" off the hook, though. They played pretty dreadful.

If Palmer doesn't fall down — like an utter donut — at the 3, he waltzes into the end zone. And if Dobbins doesn't drop a ball that hits him in the hands, he gains 30-40 yards and gets the Chargers moving towards a FG.

Do we win the game, if our guys just make average (instead of shitty) plays there? Quite possibly.

Do we feel different about Herbert this morning? Probably.

Herbert has no chemistry with this offense, its blatantly obvious... Who is Herbert's security blanket? He has none, zero. McConkey is doing great for a rookie but he is a rookie and not getting the throws that Allen did... McConkey is not Allen and he never will be. Allen was Herbert's security blanket and we let him walk... We NEEDED Allen on that field yesterday and everyone knows it.

Should have cut Bosa and kept Allen at least one more year...

I don't blame anything but the oline and offense for yesterday's loss... It wasn't coaching. You can't put a Ford Fiesta on the racetrack and expect it to perform.

Yes, the Chargers left Herbert with a bottom-three WR/TE corps. McConkey has looked great, but he's a WR2 at best right now. QJ is a WR2 or WR3. Palmer is a huge disappointment and can't even stay on his feet when he has an easy TD in front of him. And don't even get me started on the TE room. All backups and practice squad material.

As far as Allen vs Bosa is concerned, we had a cap situation, and one guy was trying to pad his retirement (not a bad thing, taking care of your family is important), and the other guy was willing to play ball and do what was needed to stay here. I would have done what Trader Joe did too with this.

I think most fans are still thinking about who KA was, and not the player he is today. Not sure if he would be a major help on this team, and his cap situation would have had to be dealt with eventually.

Agreed. LOVED Allen. But Father Time is undefeated and he would've not played up to that contract.

Also, Herbert missed spotting an open QJ for a TD on one of the plays as well as Palmer on another. To be fair, I'm not sure if Palmer would have tracked it down or not. So once again, a weekend of a lot of IF's that we are faced with.

Ultimately it's about executing, the other team did that successfully when it mattered and beat us even though we won the turnover battle. That has happened 2 weeks in a row now. I'm sure the defense is getting frustrated with the offense.

IF we are going to play the what-IF game, IF Palmer scores like he should of and Dicker makes his FG we win the game with a patched up team! The bottom line is we showed we can hang with the world Champions, and we get them again this year. Hopefully we'll have some of our starters back for that one.
