People can blame who they want but this was not on coaching... Our oline and offense in general are not good enough. Missing Alt and Slater just make everything worse...

With Alt and Slater we have a run game which helps the WR's become mediocre.

Our WR's are not talented enough and we have no real TE threat.

Palmer has all but disappeared.

His last season in Baltimore, there was plenty of noise criticizing his pass offense.

We are now tied with DEN and Raiders..... who beat the JETS and CLEV.... and essentially 3 games behind chiefs.....

They've scored zero points in 5 of the last 6 quarters.

No one is saying they need to hang 30.

You need to get some production out of them and they are getting close to zero.

The way people blame Herbert here is astounding to me and IMO utterly and completely misguided.

We are 4 games into a rebuild with a new front office, new coaches, new schemes on O and D and a shit ton of injuries. We had to overcome a horrible cap situation to boot. Those aren't excuses, those are facts. It's more than a one offseason rebuild.

Tell me what teams have beaten KC in a meaningful game in the past couple of years? Hint - no one.

Did you really think we would win today with who suited up? I'm not even pissed after this game because it went about how I expected.

When a team only scores 10 points in a game there will be plenty of criticism to go around.
Herbert is a great talent but the team including the Qb didn't come through in crunch time, KC did.

This kind of game is why people were concerned about the dog shit offense against two weak teams and why it was silly to dismiss it with "well we won so who cares that the offense looks like it's cobbled together with duct tape?"

Honestly it's even annoying following the in game threads because every single incompletion or mistake is an emotional crises for many of you. Geez.

The only depressing thing about all of it is that we are hitched to Roman for at least 2 years. Because these aren't growing pains with results at the end. They're just...pains.

Marty sucked his first two years.

Harbaugh sucked at Michigan for a few years. Several years, even.

We keep Roman for probably a minimum of 2 years - wasted, no playoff appearance years and very quickly we're talking about Justin Herbert with 0 playoff wins going into his 7th year. Good stuff all around.

Adjusted expectations for sure, and it’s a hard ask when we’ve been through so much as fans. But give this Coach and his plan a chance.

Herbert needs time, two good ankles and a run game. It will happen.

this is baloney. one and done in the playoffs if we continue to do this on offense. its up to him to have some backups ready to go. injury is a constant in the nfl. Roman is a constant for mediocrity.
