Brutal. First half looked so promising.

2nd half was a complete meltdown on both sides of the ball. Not good. I'm giving Perryman the gameball for the 2nd half stop on the 2 point conversion

Denver didn't score at all til the 4th quarter in garbage time. Shouldn't have been this close but Roman really dialed it down. Could have thrown a reverse in there when he was trying to run up the gut

defense was soft coverage and Nix can run the ball
too many times defenders over pursued the play

agree.... and all because defense did not have discipline against a highly mobile QB.....

#1 rule when playing mobile QB's is to stay in lanes and CONTAIN!!!....dont rush deeper and stay in front!!!!

There are some who don't want to acknowledge the details.

It was not pretty.

Defense was well rested going into the 2nd half and laid an egg. That is supposed to be our strong side so that's not good. They took their foot off the gas.

Also, I'm not impressed with James. I think the guy is gonna continue to be a liability in the long run. Same with Bosa.

Offense looked great first half, but that was a complete turd burger in the 2nd half.

There is a lot to feel good about. The win is great to have, and the first half performance was laudable. But big problems emerged in this game too. Again. And they are recurring. It would be foolish to handwave them away because of the victory that they had to limp into after having complete domination over their opponent.

Why doesn’t Roman ever call a screen play when it’s an obvious blitz? He sets Herbert up for failure everytime.

Yep they kept doing this. And you would expect a Veteran like James to know better but he keeps doing that. Dupree wasn't any better.
