When you get a win in the NFL the positives always out weigh the negatives! Even Harbaugh said earlier in the season NFL games don't always have fairy tale endings. After the last three seasons we just went through its obvious we are in a better place and the future is bright!

If they lose the game and are sitting at 2-3 sure fire away! All your posts it seems come off like the Chargers got beat today and were lucky to win the game. That just isn't true. You take it one game at a time and week to week.!

If the posts seem that way to you or anyone else, what is there to say? That's you.

Roman seems to be the whipping boy right now, so of course the Roman thread is going to get a lot of use, even after this win.

I'm just stating what I see wrong, and what seems to be apparent when it comes to this team, after a quarter of the season in the books.

I mean, you COULD make that argument. We had 10 points off turnovers and if Bo Nix turns it on a few minutes earlier...

He was doing whatever he wanted with us in the 4th.

Late reply...was at my son's soccer game and had to watch from behind.

Frustrating game...happy for the win but definitely feels like we escaped. Would have liked to have seen a complete effort.

If Bo Nix ever figures it out...wow, he's going to be electric, top 5 QB material. Why didn't we just put a spy on him the entire 4th quarter when it was obvious they had to pass their way out of it?

On a really POSITIVE note, it was great to see Herbert come out in the first half and throw the ball well and see a nice mixture of play calling.

Defence played well also. Better angles and containment by the pass rushers could be worked on for next week as Kyler Murray will be a step up from Nix in that regard.

Does Denver missing the onside kick count as us closing it out?

All their points were in the 4th quarter. Garbage time is when you have a big lead late.
We had a 23-0 lead and Denver didn't score til 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

The offensive play calling was good the whole first half , then with a big lead they went conservative.

I'm not saying take deep shots but keep up the misdirection , short throws and such. Mix it up, get a couple first downs.
Going vanilla up the gut for nada, I don't care for that. That gives them positive thoughts.

Garbage time to me is when the game is won. Our lead wasn't insurmountable. If Perryman doesn't snuff out that 2 point try or that onside kick doesn't sneak out of bounds we might have been in OT.

I felt like Perryman earned a game ball with the 2 pt conversion stop for that reason. keeping it a 2 possession game with that much time left and the ball is statistically a really high probability win.

Oh really? An individual player isn't ranked #3 all by himself in PPG?

Sheesh, just enjoy the win if you want to. The Chargers didn't go up against the #3 ranked PPG defense today (Surtain is that significant of a loss); that's what's being pointed out.

You know what? I will enjoy the win and if Payton was a good coach he would have not been hindered by 1 injured CB. No tears from me. There are 11 players on D not just 1.
