They sent him on a deep fly route last weekend.... Herbert just missed on the throw, but it made the DEN defense respect the deep ball....

Getting playcalls in late isn't ideal but there is a positive, coupled with a dominant run game, they shorten games.
short games have less chances for injuries in general (less plays/time)
More specifically, less tired players playing in the 4th quarter accidentally falling on guys or using lazy technique.
more running also helps the OL and skill guys learn to synchronize and avoid awkward or jerky movements that also can lead to injuries.

All these little things can help to contribute to a healthy, we'll oiled machine of a run game for Dr. Herbert to lean on while he performs surgery on opposing secondaries.

Everything is coming together, and we'll be in perfect position to surprise come playoff time.

3 winnable games to get better then a chance to prove we can win a shootout against Cinncy
then a chance to beat the best version of the Ravens at home that will set the league on notice. That's 7 or 8 wins by then and in great position for the playoffs.

Good news for me, ESPN+ is a free tack-on if you have Disney+. We have Disney for my daughter and her friends to watch sappy romcoms, switcharoo movies (were mom and teenage girl switch bodies) and PG teenage angst series in the theater room.

I was watching our dinky little 85” Samsung. their App Store has it but keeps hanging up when I try to install. It spins for 30 seconds and reverts back to “Install” - just won’t load. So I thought mmmm, I bet Apple will - which is in the theater room. Sure enough - I open Apple TV Apps, load ESPN+, it works, and it’s fabulous. Yea!

So now a question: Does ESPN+ streaming let you go backwards, “start from beginning”, those types of DVR like functions like the NFL games on Amazon will let you do? Anyone know? I work and wondered if I need to skip out early for an appointment (ahem cough) or if I can just start the game from beginning if I get home late without missing anything - on tape delay?

Oh - I normally don’t give 2 shits about the Cardinals, but for this week only - Fuck The Cardinals!

I have Disney + for kid as well. Do I need to download the ESPN+ app then login using Disney+ account credentials?

You need to load the app. Not sure on the login - my ESPN+ was already logged in when I downloaded it, it had that little cloud symbol to re-download from the cloud so I guess I had already had it installed previously - I just don’t remember it.

              google AI says this:

To log into ESPN+ if you have Disney+, you can use the same email address and password you used to sign up for the Disney Bundle:
              1. Go to the Your Disney+ account is good to go screen after activating the Disney Bundle
              2. Select LOG IN & STREAM
              3. Enter the email address and password you used to sign up for the Disney Bundle
              4. Select Log In to start streaming

If you're having trouble logging in, you can try resetting your password. You can also check that your bundle credentials have synced with ESPN+.

Man, glad you asked. The app started fine but when I tried to watch an actual ESPN sports show, I wasn’t logged in to ESPN+ - it said if I have Disney+, I could log in to the same email and password that I logged in to Disney+.

Except I didn’t log in. my wife and daughter are flying back from WA, they are boarding now, she’ll have to reset the Disney+ password to then use the new one also on ESPN+ as nobody remembers what it is lol. She said she’d do it in the morning for me. Thanks for pulling that thread brah!

If I learn another new wrinkle, I’ll post again …

Yep...use RB's as receivers a lot, along with our TE's...that's how u compensate for wideout woes...and maybe Rice surprises...

problem is we dont have any real receiving TE's.... though I agree, Rice is built to be a dependable WR.... has size, toughness, and enough speed to make plays....

Agree... hopefully Marc Trestman's experience/council comes into play.
Having a strong running game will help.

If Herbert is mobile... hit some roll-outs... mis-direction to open (usually blocking) TE's.
Time for Palmer to show he belongs.
Some drag routes... maybe a deep attempt to DD.
                          Create space... be balanced.

                          "Run the..." Nevermind.
                          Protect the QB
                          Run the ball
                          Play great defense
