I hate to be a nattering naybob of negativity, but that's what I thought last week. Our defense failed when it most needed a stop, and the run game was so 2023. I am expecting better today, though. If the Saints jam the box and Roman keeps running right at it, he should be canned. Hopefully he has some screens and misdirections in his playbook.Originally posted by el_jefe999 View PostDefense and the run game is going to carry us today. Let's get that win with no injuries and start turning this ship. Bonus points if we can score a TD lol

I am pretty sure Harbaugh and Minter will have the 13 missed tackles last game dramatically improved and expect a dominant defensive showing today.Originally posted by Antigua Bolt Backer View Post

We passed 39 times and ran 22 times last game.

You're correct. And to watch Miami this morning running all over that low-ranked Arizona run D that we struggled to do anything against, simply highlights our deficiencies all the more.Originally posted by Antigua Bolt Backer View Post

I am well aware of that. We had no choice, because the imaginative running plays were worthless against an 8-man box. I'd expect the Saints to try the same tactic.Originally posted by richpjr View Post
